FAQs

TATTOO

DO YOU TAKE WALK INS?

We work on an appointment only basis for tattoos, but sometimes can accommodate walk in piercings. It’s best to give us a call on 01323 301411 to see if Hannah is available.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

Tattoos are priced per piece based on how long our artists believe it will take, and the placement/complexity of the piece can affect this. For a quote, please fill out the booking form linked on the Tattoos section of this site.

HOW CAN I PAY FOR MY TATTOO?

A deposit is taken when booking your appointment, which then comes off the total cost of your tattoo. The final amount must be paid on the day of your appointment by cash, bank transfer or by card machine on arrangement (if you need to pay by card please mention this when booking).

HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?

You must be 18 years of age, and provide ID on the day of your appointment.

CAN I USE NUMBING CREAM TO GET TATTOOED?

Numbing cream is not recommended, and must be discussed with your artist when booking.

PIERCING

WHAT DO YOU USE TO PIERCE WITH?

Single use sterile needles, and implant grade titanium jewellery. No piercing guns here!

DO YOU HAVE JEWELLERY TO CHOOSE FROM?

Yes, on the day of your appointment there will be a selection of jewellery to choose from. All pieces shown are suitable for fresh piercings!

CAN I SEE YOUR JEWELLERY ONLINE?

Unfortunately, the jewellery we get in comes and goes so fast, and changes all the time. So it isn’t worth keeping stock online. If you are looking for a particular piece however, i am more than happy to source this and reserve it for you.

COSMETIC TATTOOING

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST FOR?

Typically microblading lasts up to 3 years, however everyone is different, and it will fade at a different rate from one person to the next. For example people that spend a lot of time on a sun bed will probably find it fades much faster than someone who doesnt!

IS IT THE SAME AS A NORMAL TATTOO?

Essentially they are the same, in that that they both puncture the skin and deposit pigment resulting in a “tattoo”, however, microblading uses a hand tool instead of a traditional tattoo machine.

WILL IT LOOK LIKE I HAVE MAKEUP ON ALL THE TIME?

No. The type of microblading I specialise in is individual hair strokes. It’s very natural looking, and is perfect for people with sparse brow growth wanting a fuller eyebrow.
